Hello MICRORACK Community!
First of all, we want to thank everyone who posted their unboxing videos, reels, tunes, jams and shared their feedback with us. It’s been really heartwarming to read about your first impressions and to see your creativity as you start exploring the system! You ROCK!!
We’ve posted a new update on Kickstarter with some important clarifications and information.

Here is a summary of what’s inside:
Late Backers & Pre-orders
For those of you with late submissions or website pre-orders (order numbers “MR-*”): no worries, we have not forgotten! Shipping for these orders is scheduled to start gradually in March.
“Gradually” means we won’t ship hundreds of kits all at once as we did initially. We will dispatch them in smaller bulks over a few weeks to manage our initial stock levels properly.
We want to bring our stock levels up to meet the demand and ensure we can fulfill orders as quickly as possible without overwhelming our logistics.
Same strategy applies to all new orders from our Market! So you can expect your next purchases to arrive through April and May, depending on your location.
Note: If you are a Kickstarter backer who hasn’t claimed your reward yet, please check your inbox for account activation email (sent mid-2025). If you can’t find it, contact us at support@microrack.org so we can help you finalize your order.
In the Kickstarter Update #22 we explain:
- Explorer Kit Contents: Why it includes a 1/4" Output and single Delay instead of the speaker out (TL;DR: better studio integration & MIDI module addition).
- ESP32 is now MIDI-CV: Renamed to better reflect its out-of-the-box functionality. Also, check out the new Web Flashing Tool!
- Postponed Designs: Why we focused on the core 20 modules first and postponed complex ones like Logic or Channel modules (they are coming later!).
- Addons Contents: Clarification on why Addon packs do not include extra breadboards/wires (our calculation mistake, apologies!).
- Stretch Goals: Status on the Free 3D-printable Stand, Travel Case, and the AE Modular Adapter collaboration with Robert Langer.
Please head over to the Kickstarter post for the full details and explanations.
Your input, involvement and support really helps us to rock that boat and bring modular to the masses! Share your tunes, videos, feedback and ideas with us and the community in socials and on forum.
See you around and
keep making noise!!!
