sounds beautiful! Which FX you have on master?

Thanks, this is an old video, so I don’t remember for sure, but most likely I used Soundtoys Echoboy Jr as a looper and Valhalla Supermassive as a reverb

Just a basic jungle/drum and bass/breakcore recipe: take an amen break, speed it up to ~150 bpm, chop into slices and rearrange as you want. Typically a sample of acoustic drum break is used, but here I’ve done a very minimal midi transcription of an amen break and worked with that.

Testing a few new things: envelope for glide, external trigger input. Both worked fine, but one needed careful adjustment.

Now if I only could play a melody with the other hand…

(also: don’ use the stylus keyboard with those black cables with the pin at the end! The gold plating on the ā€žkeysā€œ wears off quickly if it is continuously scratched by the sharp edges of the pin. The rounded end of the croco clamp works much better, except I have used both of them for the oscilloscope connections)

Edit: Oops, the manual of the RD-6 says that its trigger pulses are 15V, which is three times what the Microrack envelope module expects. Hooray for Microrack’s defensive circuit design, which prevented any damage!
