I am waiting 40 days bud my order is still being processed.
Is this a normal procedure? I am new at this poin.

Hi Willem!

Was your order placed on Kickstarter or through our webshop?

If it was via the webshop: we plan to start shipping webshop preorders shortly after we complete the Kickstarter batch and confirm that everything is in good order.

In any case no worries: all modules from your order have already been produced. We are now finalizing logistics for them.

We currently expect webshop orders to begin shipping in March.

Does your answer to Willem also applies to my situation. I ordered an explorer kit through your own webshop on August the 13th. Im happy to wait no worries. Only want to check that everything is in order. :slight_smile: Thanks.

Hi microrack. Are there delay’s on the pre-orders from the website? If there are, no problem. I can wait. Just like to know when to expect a package. :-). I orderd a explorer kit on august the 13th.

Mine has arrived, thanks. I just counted the modules and they are all present. Hopefully I’ll get some time to play with them soon.

This was shipped while I was on vacation and the courier at the UK end (Yodel) had atrocious options for delivery with some of the more useful ones (like deliver to a neighbour) greyed out. There was a risk the box would simply be returned as their headline retries/holding time for storage is 3 days. In the end they just left it in our communal hallway which is far from ideal for an expensive item but fortunately I contacted a neighbour while I was abroad to promptly collect it from there.

I’m a Kickstarter backer (in the UK) from mid August 2024. I was a bit late to register my details on microrack.org as I didn’t quite understand the process they were using for fulfilment. The post on this thread mentions those are being fulfilled ahead of preorders from the webshop. I think even the Kickstarter ones have been sent out in batches perhaps grouped by country or region. You can see videos from early in the year on YouTube.

Given the repeated delays and patchy updates/communication I would normally have assumed it was a project that wasn’t going to deliver. In stark contradiction to that is the enthusiastic Microrack attendance at SuperBooth for the last three years - I met them there in 2025. I did recently see an old video of Tesla wheeling out an investor, a balding Elon Musk, to painfully explain to unhappy customers why the first batch of Tesla cars were late, so this sort of thing can happen to anyone starting anew in an industry…
